NJ still needs more H1N1 vaccine

New Jersey has received more swine flu vaccine but not enough to meet the demand.

New Jersey Health Commissioner Heather Howard says an additional 69,000 doses of the vaccine have arrived. The state ordered 1.2 million doses and she says so far only about 300,000 have been delivered.
Howard: Because of manufacturing delays nationwide we are seeing shipments coming in at a slower pace than anticipated so we are asking people to be patient because we have been assured by the federal government that ultimately there will be enough vaccine for everyone who wants it.
The vaccine has been distributed to about 550 providers around the state. So far, it's being designated for those considered most at risk, children and pregnant women.
Howard says H1N1 is cause for concern, but not cause for alarm. No one has died from it in the Garden State since July.
