Feds dish out flu preparedness money

The federal government announced that it would provide $350 million to states to aid state health departments in preparing for an escalated flu outbreak in the fall. Most of the money will go to state health departments, and a significant portion is set aside for hospitals. The money is broken down for each state:

Pennsylvania $14 million
New Jersey $10 million
Delaware $900,000
