Mayor Nutter says he needs answers from housing chief

The embattled head of the Philadelphia Housing Authority is facing pressure from all sides. Philadelphia's Mayor wants answers to many questions about the agency and its head.

While on vacation, Mayor Michael Nutter heard about Philadelphia Housing Authority Head Carl Greene's troubles. Nutter says he hopes the multiple allegations of sexual harassment against Greene are resolved soon.
"The kind of allegations that we are talking about, and they are allegations, but they are serious allegations, they must be addressed, the management of PHA the board of PHA must address these issues, hopefully they are conducting some level of investigation but there must be zero tolerance for that kind of alleged activity."
The mayor says there seems to be something wrong at the agency. Nutter says he's interested to hear what the authority board has to say on the matter.
The board is scheduled to meet Thursday August 26th to discuss Greene's future.
I should stay out of this but I somehow knew this time would one day come. I had a personal relationship with Mr. Greene years ago. He left me emotinally devastasted. Long story. I've forgiven him (I pray) but it took some strength and courage to regain myself and to move on with my positive stride and sprit. It was a very bad ending to something that I thought was so wonderful with him. I hope all people, whether professional, educated, or not, will gain the support and help needed with mental health illness and issues. This is all about maintaining power, bullying and having a lack of respect for self and other. Sexual harassment and assault is very evil and demonic. I pray. I pray. I pray, for myself always, the entire city of Philly, the hard workers at PHA and C. Greene. My motto at the time was "every dog has its day" I wish Carl well and I will always love you.

NUTTER FOR ALLOWING MYSELF, TO KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT DOWN WITH CARL GREENE BEHAVIOR AND ACTION'S I HOPE THAT YOU WILL FILL THE SAME AS TOWARDS HOW CARL GREENE HAS TREATED ONE OF HIS TENANT'S BY NOT TALORATTING THAT AS WELL AND IS WILLING TO DO AN INVESTIGATION TOWARDS CARL GREENE ALLOWING MY FAMILY TO BE ILLEGALLY PUT OUT AS A CRIMINAL.
I HAVE NOT, BEEN SEXUALLY HARRASSED, BY CARL GREENE BUT, ALL MY RIGHT'S, WERE VIOLATED AND STRIP BY CARL GREENE, AS TO THE SAME WAY HE WAS TREATING OTHER'S.
I TRULY BELIEVE AND NO FOR A FACT THAT CARL GREENE DID NOT HAVE TO ALLOW MY-SELF AND FAMILY TO BE ILLEGALLY PUT OUT WITH NO RELOCATION TOWARDS AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES.
THERE ARE STILL ILLEGAL LIVING GOING ON IN HOUSING.
