Pennsylvania Governor's race will be fought in Pittsburgh

Pennsylvania's next governor will hail from Pittsburgh.
Since they entered the race, both Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato and Attorney General Tom Corbett were tapped as their parties' frontrunners. Tuesday night, they both delivered.
With 98 percent of precincts reporting, Onorato had captured 45 percent of the vote in a four-man Democratic primary. He says he's confident going into the general election campaign, arguing he has a better economic track record than Corbett.
"Because I have one. You don't have one as a row officer. I run the second-largest county. Unemployment is two percent below the national average. It's well below the state average. We're not immune to what happened out there, but I have a real record of actually downsizing government, consolidating elected offices, and creating an environment for the private sector to grow in."
Corbett won 69 percent of the Republican vote. Both candidates are framing themselves as reformers intent on shrinking government cost, ousting corruption and turning around the state's economy.
