Sestak upsets Specter in Pa. Senate race

The underdog is the winner in the race for the Democratic nomination for US Senate in Pennsylvania.
There was an explosion of joy in the crowd at Joe Sestak’s headquarters as Senator Arlen Specter conceded the race. Sestak came into the room thanking his supporters and saying there is still more to be done and another race to be run.
“This election is about you it’s about you and everyone in this great commonwealth who stood up and wanted their voices heard. This is what democracy looks like a win for the people over the establishment over the status quo, even over Washington DC.”
Sestak’s supporters feel Democrats will unify behind the party designee, especially union members who won’t like the very conservative politics of Republican opponent Pat Toomey.
