Pickets outside NJ Senate President's office

Protesters upset with New Jersey's Senate President set up shop outside his South Jersey office. They want confirmation hearings for the latest nominee to the State Supreme Court.
The protesters say that Senate President Steve Sweeney is violating the New Jersey Constitution by blocking hearings on Governor Chris Christie's nominee for the State Supreme Court, Ann Patterson. Sweeney is refusing hearings because the Governor chose not to re-appoint Justice John Wallace.
Steve Lonegan, state director of Americans for Prosperity, lead the protest. He says it's time for the people to fight back and support the governor they elected.
"And Chris Christie as governor is doing his job what he said he would do. Governor Christie said he would rebuild the State Supreme Court that has given you the highest property taxes in America."
The protesters went to Sweeney's office, and that prompted West Deptford police to call the county emergency response team. The protesters waited in line to voice their displeasure to Sweeney's assistant one at a time.
Nothing here on the fact that the first response from Sweeney's office was to lock the doors and say they were closed. And when you look at the pictures it's astonishing that the police with Emergency Police were called in to keep the children, women and children in single file…..
