Delaware wants input on deer management plan

A few weeks ago, state wildlife officials unveiled their 10 year plan to manage Delaware’s deer population. Now, they’re looking for input from state residents, farmers, hunters, and anyone else who may be impacted.
The first hearing is in Kent County Tuesday night from 7 to 9 at the Richardson & Robbins Building on 89 Kings Highway in Dover. On Wednesday, a hearing will be held in Sussex County at the Delaware Tech Owens Campus in Georgetown from 7 to 9. The final meeting will be held on Thursday night from 7 to 9 in New Castle County at the Ommelanden Hunter Education Center on 1205 River Road in New Castle.
