Janet Rosenzweig, the former executive director of Prevent Child Abuse New Jersey, is Christie's nominee for commissioner of the Department of Children and Family Services.
Rosenzweig: I really know how important it is and how critical it is to offer protection to kids in families at the time of crisis, but how important is also is to be there for families with information and support long before a crisis occurs.
The Governor's choice to run the Motor Vehicle Commission is Ray Martinez, the former head of the motor vehicle department in New York state.
Christie says he's deferring a choice for Public Advocate while he considers whether to eliminate the position and hand its responsibilities over to an existing department.
