Some state lawmakers say the Gaming Board should revoke Foxwoods' license, and start looking for a new casino developer.

In a filing with the gaming control board on Monday, Foxwoods again asked for more time. Company officials contend that the recession delayed negotiations with a new financial partner. And, they say, that the legislature's effort to approve table gaming has complicated their plans.

State Senator Larry Farnese says Foxwoods has run out of time.

Farnese: The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania should cut bait and run with Foxwoods because again, they have not given us any reason to believe they can follow through on their commitment.

Farnese says he has no faith that Foxwoods can get a casino up and running by the deadline of May 2011. Farnese, along with Philadelphia state Representatives Bill Keller, and Mike O'Brien are calling on the gaming board to reject Foxwoods' request.

In August, the Gaming Control Board threatened to pull Foxwoods' license if the Tuesday deadline wasn't met. Calls to Foxwood officials were not returned.
