Only 13 percent of those questioned say Corzine has accomplished a lot during his term. 34 percent say he has no real accomplishments.

Patrick Murray is Director of the Monmouth University Polling Institute. He says 68 percent of respondents disagree with Corzine's claim that the state has managed its finances well over the past three years

Murray: All of those messages are falling flat about managing the state finances and you're getting your worst grades on the things that concern New Jerseyans most which are the cost of living and property taxes. That puts you in a very bad situation in terms of trying to convince voters to return you to office.

Murray says voters will have to be comfortable with Republican Chris Christie by election day or they might decide to stick with Corzine, even if they don't think he's doing a good job.
