Biden to rail passengers: all aboard!

The federal government is investing five billion dollars on railroads under the stimulus package. One of Amtrak's more famous passengers is Vice President Joe Biden, and he helped celebrate that investment yesterday at Wilmington's Amtrak train station, which he has used for more than 30 years to commute to Washington.

Railroads around the nation are set to receive one billion dollars a year for five years under the stimulus plan. Biden says it's the biggest investment in American rail in modern history.
Biden: It is the single best investment than any traveling dollar you can invest in. It is safer, it is more reliable, it is more certain, it is more accurate than any means to get back and forth on this corridor.
Biden says investing in railroads cuts down on pollution and crowded roads.
