Crunch time for Delaware legislature

Delaware's general assembly is on a two-week Easter break. Members will find a stack of legislation waiting for them when they return.

So far this legislative session, approximately 195 bills have been introduced in the house and senate and only 14 have made it through to the governor.
Lawmakers have a few theories. One is that there's a lot of new faces. In both the legislature and the administration.
Another is the economy.
State representative Brad Bennett.
Bennett: One thing that's difficult about this year is anything that has a fiscal note involved to the bill pretty much either doesn't get out of committee or pretty much cannot go anywhere because of the financial situation we're in this year.
After the break, there will be about two months left in the session. The focus? A 750 million dollar budget shortfall.
