Lawsuit in New Jersey seeks to legalize sports betting

A lawsuit has been filed in Federal Court to expand gambling in New Jersey to include sports wagering.
Transcript:
New Jersey Senator Raymond Lesniak says he wants to overturn the federal law banning sports gambling. The ban was put in place back in 1992. He says it's discriminatory and the gambling is done anyway.
Lesniak: "This would be at racetracks at casinos and over the Internet. It would maximize the return to the tune of billions of dollars except they are doing it illegally the way to do this is to do it regulated, do it legally and bring it here to New Jersey."
Senator Lesniak says New Jersey is being deprived of more than $100 million a year because of the ban on sports gambling. He says expanding sports gambling to the state's racetracks and to residents via the Internet will preserve the industry in the state.
