Shady Grove Music Fest

Rain or Shine in the Shady Grove, behind Gild Hall. Featuring Joe Trainor Trio (rock), New Sweden (folk rock), The Knobs (rock), Kombu Combo (jazz), and Caterpillar (rock). Tickets will be $20 general public and $18 for Club members. This is a rain or shine event. Bring chair or blanket, umbrella or sun bonnet. Arden Gild Hall, June 12th 1 p.m.

Broadening the Arts

The museum is hosting the first annual "Broadening the Arts in Dover" event sponsored by Dover AFB Services Squadron. Professional and emerging artists, both children and adults, will have the opportunity to showcase their talents. There will be exhibits, demonstrations, educators and performers representing visual and performing arts such as music, dancing, storytelling, cooking, and painting. 61st Delmarva Chicken Festival

The festival will feature a carnival, which is also open Thursday night, an arts and craft show, a home and trade show, antique tractors, the Del Rods car show, children’s activities and games, a petting zoo and live musical entertainment. There will also be an opportunity to learn about nonprofit organizations. Delaware State University, June 18th and 19th, 10 a.m.
