Dinotopia Family Day Returns

Because of the snow-storm during the first Dinotopia Family Day in February, James Gurney is returning for the final weekend of Dinotopia! Families will have an opportunity to explore Gurney’s extraordinary world on family-friendly tours of the exhibition and create hands-on art activities inspired by his popular Dinotopia series. Delaware Art Museum, May 15th, 10 a.m.

The Foocy

A puppet comedy with masks and music, this fascinating approach to storytelling is a wondrous tale of good against evil. A hideous witch travels the Russian countryside and lands in the village of Vrinsk, where the citizens devise a number of ways to appease her. This playful and creative comedy is theatre at its best. Delaware Theatre Company, May 14th through May 16th.

Winnie The Pooh

The Delaware Children's Theatre presents a Winnie the Pooh adventure: The Search for Other Tiggers, all ages welcome. Delaware Children's Theatre, May 15th and 16th, 2 p.m.

AMC Museum Silent Auction

The AMC Museum is hosting its first Silent Auction. Expect to see lots of aviation-themed items like war-bird flights, vintage aircraft flights, artwork, reference books, models, weekend getaways, antiques, memorabilia, and flight gear. Enjoy wine tasting with Wine Master Steve Kogler of Teller Wines of Lewes! Your advance ticket price of $10 ($12 at the door) entitles you to FOUR samples of wine. Mini-Masters: Plant Pals

May is the perfect month to teach children about plants and what they need to thrive and grow. Each child will plant their own grass and in June we will decorate our new “Plant Pals.” Biggs Museum of American Art, May 19th, 10 a.m.
