Host Patrick Stoner has a B.A. in Theatre and Speech from the College of William and Mary, an M.A. in Drama from the University of Virginia, and he has completed his doctoral courses in Drama (ABD) at the City University of New York Graduate Center. He is a graduate of the National Critics' Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center; he is a founding member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association; and, he has been reviewing films at WHYY for over twenty years. Flicks and Quick Pics appear on dozens of PBS stations nationwide each week. He also taught "Introduction to Theater" and "Acting in Film" at the University of Delaware.
