Guacamole with Fruit

We all know avocados are heart-healthy, but this recipe also adds pomegranate for even more anti-oxidants.


  • 2 avocados
  • 1 cup tomato, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • ¼ cup onion, diced
  • ¼ bunch cilantro, chopped
  • 2-3 limes, juiced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup pomegranate seeds, diced
  • ¼ cup mango, diced


    1. Remove skin and pit from the avocados. Mash with a fork until creamy. Fold in remaining ingredients and season with salt.
    2. Top with seasonal fruit.

Reminder: The ingredients in a recipe determine if it should be eaten every day, some days, or on special occasions. It's up to you and you doctor to determine what can be part of a healthy diet for you and any special needs you may have.
