If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with cancer, you may want to contact one of these cancer support organizations.

An authoritative source for information about cancer and cancer treatment is online at the National Cancer Institute website.

The American Cancer Society offers a variety of services for people with cancer. They also have suggestions for dealing with depression, and advice on how to talk with cancer patients about their disease.

Cancer is only one type of terminal disease, of course. The University of Ottowa Palliative Care Institute works to improve patient care for a wide variety of advanced illnesses.
