Steven Spielberg to be awarded Philadelphia’s Liberty Medal today

Filmmaker Steven Spielberg is set to receive the 2009 Liberty Medal for his artistic and humanitarian achievements. Former President Bill Clinton will present the medal to Spielberg at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia tonight at 6:30 p.m.

The event will be broadcast live by local ABC television station WPVI Channel 6, and a live Internet broadcast of the event will be accessible through both the museum’s website and the television station’s website.
