Citizens gave the mayor advice in video message on how Philadelphia should balance the budget

Dear Mr. Mayor. Please watch these videos of your citizens giving advice on to balance next year’s budget. I served as a cameraman at all four budget workshops, and saw former homeless people, firemen, rec dept users and many others take time out of the workshops in hopes that you will really watch these. The most common thing said to me was….will the city really going to watch these? I told them all that either the mayor or his aides would see them. While not all of them have concrete proposals, nearly all of them were done by folks who sincerely care about our city and just want the best for their families and neighbors.
