Fun with Google Street View - PPA Edition!

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009 at 2:20 pm - by Dan Pohlig. Filed under: Entertainment.

On a cold day like today, what better way to go for a quick lunchtime walk around the neighborhood at lunch than to drag that little Google Street View man around the blue-lined streets and alley ways that define his universe.  Earlier on one such jaunt, I stopped by the corner of 4th and Bainbridge.

Now I could be mistaken but from my vantage the vantage of the Google Street View car, this looks like one of Philly’s finest Parking Authority agents taking a break on a fine summer day.  The light blue shirt, communication device and ticket book are a dead giveaway.  I wonder what he thought was going on when the Google Prius (here being pulled over) drove by.  Lesson is… if you’re going to take a break, catch some z’s in dark alley.
