The comments continue to pour in as people share their pre- and day of Inauguration plans with us. Use this or any of our other Inauguration posts to let us know what you, your friends, your family or your employer is planning for tonight, tomorrow and Tuesday.
We are also continuing to accept your photos of anything that screams “Inauguration preparation” in the Greater Philadelphia region. Were you at the kick off of yesterday’s whistle stop train ride from Philadelphia to D.C.? Share your stories and photos with us. You can also watch all of WHYY’s coverage of the Inaugural Train, including Vice-President-Elect Biden’s (requires Real Player) and President-Elect Obama’s (requires Real Player) speeches in Wilmington.
Below are a couple of submissions from WHYY-FM listeners and WHYY.org readers.

Carissa VanDerSluis writes in to tell us:
I work at an HIV/AIDS clinic in North Central Philadelphia. The PHMC Care Clinic is a primary medical and socail service clinic that works with this medically underserved population. On Tuesday we are hosting an inauguration party for staff and patients. Since many of the patients don’t have access to TV, we feel this is a great oppotunity for them to witness history. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Carissa VanDerSluis at 215-787-9502 or carissa@phmc.org.
Share your own plans with us whether they are open to the public or just small gatherings of friends and family, we want to hear about it.
It's Our City is a project that uses TV, Radio and Web
to promote civic engagement in the Philadelphia region.
