Thursday, November 13th, 2008 at 12:56 pm - by Matt Campbell. Filed under: Uncategorized.

The parent companies of two of Philadelphia’s TV stations say they will form a local news service to create and distribute video news coverage.  Fox Television Stations Inc. and NBC Local Media  say this partnership will begin in Philadelphia and other cities beginning in January 2009.

The Associated Press says the the participating stations will continue to operate separate newscasts but the pooled video coverage is designed to allow the each station to focus on more specialized reporting.
