Hey look what I found rummaging through YouTube. It’s Michael Nutter in 1989 singing in a Leadership Inc. rap song. Nutter served as a city councilman from 1992-2006 and was sworn in a Mayor of Philadelphia in January 2008. This is a must-see because Nutter and his friends are actually pretty good. The song was put together for the 30th Anniversary celebration of Leadership Inc. now known as Leadership Philadelphia.

That video is too cute. Its tone reminds me of the good ol’ Electric Company on PBS in the ’70s.

As you may know since this is a video that I posted and wrote about, this video was created as a 30th Anniversary Celebration for Leadership Inc (now Leadership Philadelphia).
We never performed this live… we recorded the audio and then went back into the studio for the video to the track. We played it at the big dinner to celebrate Leadership Inc that year.
