Tom Ferrick joins WHYY’s It’s Our City as a contributing writer
Thursday, October 16th, 2008 at 1:03 pm - by Matt Campbell. Filed under: Politics.
Tom Ferrick has spent decades covering government, politics and the city, most of them for the Philadelphia Inquirer. His list of beats includes Harrisburg reporter, City Hall bureau chief, political writer and metro columnist. He’s also been the recipient of many local, state and national journalism awards. We are thrilled to have a journalist with his experience and enthusiasm lend his expertise to WHYY’s civic engagement project.
Ferrick’s first piece will be published here tomorrow. In it, he explores
how the political landscape has changed in southeastern Pennsylvania and how these changes make victory in Pennsylvania a lock for Barrack Obama. In the coming weeks, he’ll be writing more about local government, politics and civic life.
We welcome Tom to our roster of contributors.
It's Our City is a project that uses TV, Radio and Web
to promote civic engagement in the Philadelphia region.
