Washington Post’s David Broder sees John McCain slipping in key Pennsylvania suburb

Washington Post columnist David Broder says Montgomery County is one of the key
battleground counties in America. Adding that in a fight for Pennsylvania’s 21 electoral votes it can often come down to what voters here decide. Broder has made several visits to Upper Dublin, PA to talk to voters in this election year. During his visit one-week before the April 22nd Pennsylvania Democratic primary election, he found many voters still a little wary of Barack Obama. Hillary Clinton won the county but only by a slim margin.
In Today’s Washington Post, David Broder writes about his most recent visit to Upper Dublin where he found many of the Clinton supporters have become very enthusiastic Obama supporters. Conversely John McCain’s selection of Sarah Palin to be his vice presidential nominee appears to have hurt his image in Montgomery County. By the end of the article, Broder thinks McCain has an uphill battle to win Montco and with it the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
