Barack Obama’s North Philadelphia campaign rally attracts 20,000

Sunday, October 12th, 2008 at 5:20 pm - by Matt Campbell. Filed under: Politics.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama leads the polls in Pennsylvania by 10 points according to the latest WHYY/West Chester University poll. But he’s still not taking Pennsylvania for granted. Obama made four campaign stops in Philadelphia yesterday. It was the same day that republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin was in Philadelphia to drop the ceremonial puck at the Flyers hockey game. It’s Our City’s Amiekay Richcrick filed this report on Obama’s campaign rally at Progress Plaza in North Philadelphia.
