Today is the last day in Pennsylvania to register to vote for the November 4th election

Sunday, October 5th, 2008 at 7:18 am - by Matt Campbell. Filed under: Politics.

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, You probably know that today is the last day to register to vote in Pennsylvania. If you have any questions, go to votespa.com, they have it all. Including a reminder that The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania ruled on December 26, 2000 that the Pennsylvania law prohibiting convicted felons from registering to vote for five years after their release from prison is UNCONSTITUTIONAL. So if anybody tells you otherwise, they are lying and should be reported. In fact, kudos to The Committee of Seventy for being a hawk on this stuff. They have been getting all kinds of reports of voter intimidation. They have a list of common myths that are sometimes exploited by those trying to suppress the vote in Philadelphia.

Pennsylvania deadline is Monday, Oct 6th

Delaware the deadline is Saturday, Oct 11th

New Jersey the deadline is Tuesday, Oct 14th
