Can this also be recorded as an MP3 file for those of us who may not be able to listen at 2 p.m., or may not catch the whole show?

I wonder if they’ll talk about the new “green” school being planned to be built in Kensington?!

Hi Eric. I don’t know if Dave will ask about the green school in Kensington. Can you tell me what it is, and why it might be interesting to hear about.

I will try to put an MP3 of the education radio interview up on our website asap. A video of it will also be posted but at a later date. As i’m finding, creating video for the web is alot more time consuming than I expected. If anyone has tried learning Final Cut, there are a whole bunch of rookie mistakes that you have to go through before learning it. But it’s fun.

This letter is to inform the Public, Arlen Ackerman and the so call Mayor Nutter about the LACK of text books and supplies of the children in the Public School System. FACTS: School has been in sessions for a month, but still in yet my child does not have ANY text books to learn from. After addressing this issue to the new Principal she claims that she was not aware of the situation, keep in mind she was the Vice Principal at the same school last year. Is it me or did I completely miss something here? The sad part to this all is that I’ve actually been to the SO called meetings (Broad ST) to voice the FACTS about the children and nothing has happen. ”NO ONE WITH THE RESOURCES CARES ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THE CHILDREN OF TOMORROW”! I am not the Mayor or Ms. Ackerman but how does change come about if our children are not being challenged at school? My child school has not had a music teacher for three years. Is this right? What is really happen to the Monies that the city of Philadelphia is getting from tax payers like myself , I guess it going to the people that shows up late, leave early and still can make 90K a year instead of PROVIDING the necessary tools and equipment for the Children! All that the Principals, Arlen Ackerman and Nutter worries about are the Standardize Test that I know for a fact that the are rigged. How is it that a child on a third grade reading level is in the sixth grade, oh that’s right the no child left behind act. Wow, is that really helping the child or just making that child more confuse, loss, and helpless oh that right it is going on now in the Public School System. The below information is from my child’s teacher a CONCERN person that should have been the Mayor, Superintendent, or the Principal but of course the right caring persons never get those positions. Of course it’s scheduled so teachers can’t call. So you may want to call in and ask why we often lack the supplies we are to suppose to have in school. Add to that why the district doesn’t protect teachers who blow the whistle on school corruption and children needing extra help are stranded in the CASP process (one of my kids I recommended in 3rd grade and she still hasn’t gotten help now even though she’s back in my 6th grade class). They had order books, but we won’t get everything. Nothing has come in as yet so I am still xeroxing things for math homework, etc. This is what is going on and the saddest part of it all is that this DID NOT JUST START BUT BELIEVE YOU ME I AM GOING TO HELP FIX THIS PROBLEM THAT SHOULD HAVE NOT EVER ACURE!
