Bruce Springsteen will perform in Philadelphia this Saturday to help Obama’s campaign

Bruce Springsteen is coming to town. This Saturday at 3:30pm, Springsteen will perform an acoustic concert on the JFK Parkway in Philadelphia in an effort to boost voter registration numbers in Obama-land. Springsteen has endorsed Barack Obama for president. Here’s the twist, you can get “preferred seating” for the concert if you’re willing to volunteer for Obama’s voter registration drive effort. Pennsylvania’s voter registration deadline is Monday.
Philebrity has a list of places where you can get advanced tickets, but let me warn you as of 5:47pm the folks I talked to had no info about the show. I had to do a public service by reading Philebrity’s blog out loud. I also have a call in to see if there’s any price for the tickets. I think it would be crazy if they charged anything, but none of the stories specifically say….it’s a free concert. Stay Tuned.
UPDATED: Tickets are free
