Presidential campaign watch: McCain in Philly

John McCain arriving in Philadelphia yesterdayRepublican Presidential candidate John McCain is in Philadelphia on a two-day visit for private meetings. Philadelphia Daily News blog Clout has the most details on his visit which included a meeting yesterday with Cardinal Justin Rigali and later dinner at Devon Seafood Grill, on Rittenhouse Square. The DN also reports he’s expected to have a meeting in Northeast Philadelphia today. McCain is juggling alot this week with the aftermath of Hurricane Gustav still be being assessed, the news of his VP’s daughter’s unplanned pregnancy, and a RNC convention schedule in flux. We’ll keep you posted on any developments on his Philadelphia visit.
