Zoning board pulls plug on Unisys skycraper logos

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008 at 4:11 pm - by Matt Campbell. Filed under: Uncategorized.

The Philadelphia Zoning Board of Adjustments unanimously voted against a plan by Unisys to put its logo high up on one of Philadelphia’s signature highrise office towers. The board at this morning’s meeting said current zoning does not allow for any sign bigger than 100 sq ft and higher than the bottom of the second floor. Unisys based in Blue Bell, PA outside of Philadelphia has already signed a 10-year lease at the Two Liberty Place highrise. The company has not decided whether it will appeal today’s decision.
