Local blogger wins his battle for public access to Philadelphia election returns

Young Philly Politics blogger Dan Urevick-Ackelsberg declared victory today in his campaign to provide a web-based real-time election returns for the general public. Until now, the Philadelphia City Commissioners would only provide access to about 200 people. Urevick-Ackelberg says while the city had said it was committed to making this change he now it is now in writing. The city has pledged to have the new system in place for this November’s Presidential election.
