Summertime is in full swing....and that can only mean picnics and beer. On today's show we're talking all things picnic--from great food to that outdoor dining scourge.....ants! We'll taste summer beers crafted from a recipe that's five generations old. Also, we'll learn a few tips on creating your own beer for a personal beverage. And because summer picnics often start with a roadtrip, we've found a guide to unusual attractions from Maine to Florida. One of the joys of traveling is trying new foods. We'll go on a culinary excursion and talk with three international chefs. Irish chef Darina Allen inspires us with a fresh take on fresh vegetables. She is a cooking teacher and author of The Ballymaloe Cooking School Cookbook. Then we'll explore the different cuisines of Asia with Corinne Trang, her book is Essentials of Asian Cuisine. Later on the show, English chef Cyrus Todiwala introduces us to the food of the Parsi community. He has written Cafe Spice Namaste.
